Have you ever felt the need to escape from the mundane routine and go on a fun-filled trip with your friends, colleagues, or family, Barahsinghe Beer Garden Tour is an ideal choice? It perfectly combines scenic beauty, adventure, delicious food, and beer. Our group recently took a tour of Barahsinghe Beer Garden, and it was an experience of a lifetime.
A Memorable Journey
On Saturday at 9 a.m., we took the bus from our office. We were all excited and ready to have fun.
We ordered drinks for everyone on the bus and held a gig session where we each got to perform.
The journey was off to a great start, and we were all looking forward to what the day had in store for us.
Around 11 am, we took a pee break, and by noon, we stopped to enjoy lunch and refreshments. To Barahsinghe, we sang different songs, had a jam, and even did a karaoke session.
As we reached Barahsinghe, we sat around the quiet and beautiful hotel while our rooms were getting ready.
We had booked nine rooms, which could fill up to 25 people. As the rooms were getting ready, we swam in the pool. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the swim time with pool fights and took many pictures.
After the pool session, we all went to our respective rooms to dress up. Everyone came for snacks while dressed to impress.
While the boys enjoyed football on the river banks, we gathered for snacks and had a fun-filled moment.
The Beer Garden Tour
Later, we learned that the beer garden would only serve until 10 pm. We gathered and went to the beer garden for snacks and another round of drinks.
The tour highlighted the perfect and fresh beer in different flavors. Everyone had a photo session, and then we sat on an extended bench to enjoy the food, drinks, and music. Our talented team sang beautiful songs and entertained us.
We returned to the hotel for dinner after the drink and received a warm welcome of drinks and good food. As all of us enjoyed the food, we had good talks.
While the BBQ was getting ready, we sat around the bonfire and enjoyed BBQ chicken with good music. Later, we danced by the pool, and some even dived for a refreshing time.
Exploring the Beer Factory
We awoke early the next morning, ate breakfast, and prepared to explore the beer factory. The factory gave us an educational tour of how everything worked. We then strolled around the factory area before returning to the hotel.
The hotel staff and guests were getting ready to leave. Before boarding the bus, we took group photos. Because we were exhausted, we had no jam sessions on the bus this time.
We had lunch at the exact location as the day before, savored the food, and then drove to the valley around 3 pm.

Types of Beer Produced in Barahsinghe Beer Factory
We will explore the different types of beer produced at Barahsinghe Beer Factory, including their ingredients, brewing process, and tasting notes.
Lager
Lager is a popular beer style known for its crisp, clean taste and light body. At Barahsinghe Beer Factory, the brewery produces a variety of lagers, including Pilsners and Helles.
The lagers are brewed using locally-sourced Himalayan spring water, malted barley, and noble hops. The beer is fermented at low temperatures, which gives it its signature crispness and clean finish. The Pilsner is light and golden, while the Helles is slightly darker and amber.
Ale
Ale is another popular beer style known for its fruity, full-bodied flavor. At Barahsinghe Beer Factory, the brewery produces a variety of ales, including Indian Pale Ale (IPA) and Belgian Dubbel.
The ales are brewed using locally-sourced Himalayan spring water, malted barley, and a variety of hops. The beer is fermented at warmer temperatures, which gives it its fruity flavor and full-bodied texture.
The IPA has a golden color and a strong hop aroma, while the Belgian Dubbel has a darker color and a malty, caramel-like flavor.
Stout
Stout is a rich, dark beer style known for its roasted, coffee-like flavor. At Barahsinghe Beer Factory, the brewery produces a variety of stouts, including Milk Stout and Russian Imperial Stout.
The brewery makes the stouts with locally sourced spring water from the Himalayas, roasted malted barley, and a selection of hops.
The beer is fermented at warmer temperatures and then aged in oak barrels, which gives it its rich, complex flavor. The Milk Stout has a sweet, creamy flavor, while the Russian Imperial Stout has a bold, roasted flavor.
Wheat Beer
Using locally sourced Himalayan spring water, malted wheat, and various hops and spices, Barahsinghe Beer Factory brews various wheat beers, including Hefeweizen and Belgian Witbier.
Higher fermentation temperatures give the beer its fruity, spicy flavor. Brewers use a lot of wheat and malted barley when making these beers.
The Hefeweizen’s hazy and banana-like appearance contrasts with the Belgian Witbier’s cloudy, citrusy, coriander-like flavor.
Fruit Beer
Barahsinghe Beer Factory makes fruit beers such as Mango Ale and Raspberry Wheat by incorporating fruit puree into the beer, which imparts a fruity flavor and aroma.
To make the fruit beers, they use locally sourced Himalayan spring water, malted barley, a variety of hops, and fruit puree. During fermentation, warmer conditions make it easier for fruit flavors to infuse into the beer.
The Mango Ale has a sweet, tropical flavor, while the Raspberry Wheat has a tart, berry-like flavor.
This brewery has something for everyone, from crisp and refreshing lagers to rich and complex stouts. Visitors to the brewery can enjoy a tasting session and learn about the beer-making process while taking in the beautiful surroundings of Kurintar, Nepal.
