Job Description

  • Research a given topic and create content that will engage users.
  • Manage a team of writers and is responsible for curating fresh, relevant, and informative content·
  • Direct the creation of new content and determines when and re-surface prior work during relevant news·
  • Help the team craft and refine ideas, cultivate sources, report, and write articles daily.        
  • Train writers and contribute to building up a high-quality writer pool. 
  • Optimize published pieces using SEO guidelines
  • Prepare a report at the end of the month
  • Prepare/implement weekly/monthly content strategy by communicating with team members.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Web development or related field or relevant experience
  • Solid knowledge and experience in programming applications
  • Knowledge and Experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP(WordPress)
  • Experience in WordPress themes and plugin development
  • Knowledge of programming language and technical terminology
  • Able to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them
  • A keen interest in staying up-to-date with the latest web technologies.
  • Ability to work under pressure without compromising the quality of work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, Develop – maintain new and existing WordPress Themes
  • Develop features in websites to support marketing and SEO team.
  • Write clean code and test it throughout development to ensure top-tier quality
  • Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs and provide input to improve the process
  • Deliver to and communicate with clients effectively, regularly, and professionally
  • Strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Maintain a work plan & the work status report at the end of the day.
